Ayesha Omar
Clinical Counselor
Healing is one of the bravest choices we can make for ourselves. My experience in working with clients who have lived through trauma has afforded me a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection, and how we can struggle to live full and connected lives when we are out of sync with our needs and values. I hope to support clients in resolving challenges by building upon their strengths and tools.
I use a blend of EMDR, CBT, self-compassion, mindfulness practices and inner child work to help clients resolve past challenges, current symptoms, and move towards the life they want to live. My work is deeply embedded in non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and multicultural practices to support the unique stories of each of my clients.
It is incredibly powerful to recognize we have the choice to change, even when change is scary. Allow me the opportunity to navigate this new path with you. With kindness, compassion, and empathy, I welcome you to a safe place to heal.
